J's story

There is only one Driver J MacDonald listed among the British servicemen who fell in the First World War, but we don’t know where he was from.  This seems the most likely identity of Driver J McDonald written on the bells,  but there were at least two John McDonalds from East London of different ranks.

If you have any information that would help, please get in touch.
